That's yarn. Rowan yarn. Alot of Rowan yarn.
And it's mine, all MINE! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
My Mom somehow came into several thousand skeins of Rowan Cashsoft yarn. Aran, DK, 4 ply, Baby DK.... we're talking ALOT of yarn here, folks. I had asked her to put aside a grocery-bag full for me, sight unseen. Added to that is another two bags full for a Christmas present (thanks, Mom!). And then, this morning, Mom-The-Enabler had put all the remaining yarn she had in a huge, colorful, delicious pile in the middle of the living room floor.
Yeah, I bought more. ;-)
The end result of this yarn shopping orgy is 74 skeins of Rowan Cashsoft.

I can hardly wait to see what you're gonna do with this haul!
Gadabout asked what I'm planning on knitting with this bounty - the random single skeins will be a baby sweater for The Mister's grandbaby (due in July), the black skeins are socks for The Mister, the 2 garnet skeins are gloves, the two bags of lilac are a sweater for me (design to be determined), and the bag of brown is a comfort shawl for a friend. Other than that, I'm happy to take suggestions! lol!!
wow a bit of yarn envy is being felt... not quite sure how to react... but I'm excited for you! :) - I think I'm glad it's your yarn and not mine... because it'd just mean more projects to knit before my stash is leveled to a more reasonable quantity....
